So, you’ve decided to cook more Chinese food at home. And invest in a wok. A wise move! What do you need to look for?
My advice would be to choose a larger wok. Preferably about 30 – 35 cm in diameter (12 – 14 inches), with deep sides. Much more versatile as you can readily cook smaller quantities in a larger wok. But large amounts of food in a small wok is a problem!
However do check out where you’re planning to store it and there’ll be enough room for it. Hanging it on the wall is often a good idea if there’s room.
